While doing totally different research I found some more information about rhythm and melody of the language. Book titled 'The Performer's Voice: Realizing Your Vocal Potential' by Meribeth Bunch Dayme is mainly about musical performance and previous preparation, but it's interesting because the author mentioned about it and explained it as a kind of help to sing properly. I could work in both ways, the fact that languages have their own rhythms could help with singing and singing could help to learn that natural rhythm of the language. 'Each language has its own rhythm as well. Stop and listen to someone speak French, German, English, or Chinese. When people learn a foreign language, it is not the pronunciation that usually trips them up; it is the rhythm of the language' (Dayme, 2005, p.186). This is the second book where the author is mainly focused on the rhythm of the language rather than the pronunciation. The author also mentioned that 'Each language has its own melodic movement. Don't be fooled into thinking that spoken text does not have a melodic line' (Dayme, 2005, p.187). It's also about a melodic line of the language, I would say that musical elements also build spoken text given for a particular language. Music is connected with language in different ways, 'every word you say is important and requires the same imagination as any singer's' (Dayme, 2005, p.187). The author also agrees with my statement that music helps to develop our speaking voice. 'By following some of the guidelines and exercises for singers, you will improve the quality of your speaking voice greatly' (Dayme, 2005, p.187). There are many sources which tell about language and the rhythm of it, it's really interesting but how could I explain my polish mumbling, does it make any sense and is there anything about the 'rhythm of the mumble music'?
